Surfing off the Breakers


      Here are photos of the action in front of the Breakers the day after Hurricane Floyd passed in 1999. THIS IS NOT A SAFE THING TO DO.
      There are rocks in the water; it is difficult to get down to the water; the waves can be quite unpredictable ... that said ... a lot of people like to watch the action and take photos of the guys on one of the few days a year when our surf conditions are ideal. The wind was coming from the west and against the waves.
