The Start at Memorial Boulevard

      Cliff Walk starts at Memorial Boulevard and runs south just about 3.5 miles.

      This first segment is about 3/8ths of a mile [see maps below]. The access points are at Memorial Boulevard, and the ends of Cliff Terrace and Seaview Ave.

      Parking is available at Newport's Easton's Beach (First Beach) and at parking meters on Memorial Boulevard. Cliff Terrace and Seaview are no-parking zones.

      The walk in this segment is paved, the condition is very good, and it is easily used for walking and running. Bicycles are not allowed. There are two sets of steps.

      There are great views of the beach, ocean, the cliff sides.

      Although there are a number of fences guarding the steep drops, wandering off the path can be hazardous especially during the summer when vegetation may run to the edge of the cliffs.
